I’m David E. Barber, a fantasy author, commercial artist, and lifelong storyteller. My love of epic fantasy began at an early age and has taken many forms over the years—from short stories and poetry to role-playing games and, eventually, novels. The Draakonor Chronicles is the result of years of hard work, collaboration, invention, and a whole lot of fun.

Douglas Shuler

Storyteller. Illustrator. Extraordinary Game Master.

In addition to being a remarkable storyteller and fantastic game master, Douglas Shuler is well-known for his Magic: The Gathering illustrations. He has been painting professionally for over 30 years and has worked for numerous game and media companies, including TSR, Wizards of the Coast, Lucasfilm, Paramount Pictures, and the Sci-Fi Channel.

The Draakonor Chronicles began as a long-running role-playing campaign created by and played with a close group of friends. Years of adventures, characters, and worldbuilding eventually provided the foundation for this series of fantasy novels.
